Drop a resume on the Dashboard and the candidate is created
Add Candidate on the Dashboard now creates the candidate as soon as a dropped resume shows a name and an email or phone, and gets the save ready while the resume is still being read.
No Create button to press
On the Dashboard, open Add Candidate and drop a resume on the AI parser tab, which opens first. When the resume shows a name and an email or phone number, the candidate is created straight away with a spinner, the same as the Resume tab already did. Experience, skills and the rest are filled in afterwards, as before.
If the resume is missing a name, or both email and phone, nothing is created. Fill in what is missing and press Create Candidate. If the candidate already exists, you see the existing candidate to update instead, and no duplicate is made.
A faster save
Opening Add Candidate and dropping a resume get the save ready while the resume is still being read, as Add Candidate on the Candidates page already does. This can reduce start-up waiting; the same candidate identity and duplicate rules still apply. Save time depends on the file and service availability.
